NET Tapers Series #1 (Taper: NTA). off-master, excellent sound. This recording inaugurates the NET Tapers Series. If you have a recording from this date, you can easily tell whether it is this one. First of all, on the first track, "Jokerman", after some fairly obnoxious screeching, the taper (apparently) says very clerarly: "Shut up!" Luckily, except for a brief time at the end of the track, the screeching stops and the audience noise is not an issue in the rest of the show.

Sound: 9 (the taper starts messing with the levels during Jokerman. This is one sweet recording job. Levels are great, vocals are crystal clear, almost a little too upfront though as evidenced by the speaker shake when Bob gets hold of a long high note.

This is the Schubert remaster, surprisingly good sound. Extracted by EAC with glitch removal, then FLAC frontend with sector boundary alignment option.
There is a boot "Inside The Rain" circulating - but not sure if this is based on the same tape source. A lot of comments from the taper and his buddy between songs - but apart from that not much crowd noise.
