(a) Dylan on guitar for Jack Elliott. (b) Dylan on back-up vocal and guitar for Jack Elliott. (c) Dylan solo. (d) Jack Elliott solo. #1-7 Complete unedited master tape. Notes from taper posted at RMD: "I was sitting right under Dylan. At my table was Paul Siebel, Larry Estridge & Mayer Vishner. I can never forget the power that came out of every line in that song. Every line was better that the last one. It was an amazing moment that will stay with everyone who was in that room the rest of or lives. When Dylan came up he was very nervous an for the first 2 songs he had the capo on the guitar crooked an it was buzzing the strings but he never noticed. He nervous an shy. Then after the second song (which Dylan never sang on, near the end of the song Jack looked at Dylan to sing a verse an Dylan shook his head no an then the song ended) For the first 2 songs they where both sitting down. Then Dylan asked Jack if he could use his guitar ("Can I Use Yours"). An they switched guitars. An Dylan stood up for the next song an Jack didn't know what was coming an was gonna play with Dylan. But once Dylan started the song Jack moved  too the back an just listened, Amazed like everyone else. An after Dylan sat down Jack started to do his next song an then realized he had the other guitar. That's how much in awe he was at what he just heard. Dylan had just out of nowhere blew everyone away with this song an then walks off an sits back down. An now its up to Jack who like ever one else couldn't believe what he just heard. After the show was over we took the tape up to WBAI where Mayer Vishner was doing a show an played at about 4 in the morning.. Then the sun came up an it was now the 4th of July... A night I'll never forget."

October 30, 1975 - Plymouth, Massachusetts - 2 CDs [top]

Disc 1 -  When I Paint My Masterpiece (with Neuwirth), It Ain't Me Babe, A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall, Romance in Durango, Isis, The Times They Are A-Changin' (duet with Baez), Never Let Me Go (duet with Baez), The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll (duet with Baez), I Shall Be Released (duet with Baez)

Disc 2 -  Diamonds and Rust (Baez), Swing Low Sweet Chariot - accapella (Baez), Love Song to a Stranger (Baez), Joe Hill (Baez), Oh Happy Day (Baez), Please Come To Boston (Baez), Chestnut Mare (McGuinn), Mr Tambourine Man (solo), Oh Sister, Hurricane (cut)

Have artwork. While this tape contains no new Dylan performances, it does however, contain the duets in much improved quality and the full Baez set. Up to now collectors have only had a dire quality incomplete tape of the duets, and have probably not noticed that this is the only time The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll was performed as a duet. This version is stunning with Dylan and Baez singing amazingly well. They both seem to be enjoying the performance and produce a wonderful final verse.

Have artwork. This tape is from Boston 21 November 75 (afternoon) and is 120 minutes long. The tape starts with the Joni Mitchell set, includes the full Baez set and a partial Elliot set. This new tape is nice to hear for a couple of reasons; not only does it contain the only RTR performance of Joni Mitchell singing her Harrys House / Centrepiece, but the tape has nice quality / atmosphere during the duets. The crowd are calling out some nice comments such as “What a lovely couple!”, and Joan responds with "A lovely couple of what?.." before I Shall be Released. Baez’s set is also worth hearing for her performance of Guthrie’s Pastures of Plenty as it fits well with her ‘United Farm Workers’ cause at the time. It’s nice for a new fuller tape to emerge after 27 years.

EasyTree download. Track transitions are not seamless, especially between sets. This is the audience recording source which said to be superior to the Line Source (Cowboy Angel Blues); This is possibly the best circulating source of all RTR and certainly the best complete show.
